Traveling by car?
Hotel Riverton offers parking spaces in Gothenburg, in our garage located behind the hotel for a fee. Since we have a limited number of spaces, we recommend that you pre-book in advance by booking your spot here. Please note that you can only reserve a spot in our garage if you have a confirmed reservation with us and during the dates of your stay.
Electric car charging – now available in all spaces
All our parking spaces offer electric car charging. This makes it extra convenient for guests who drive electric cars and is one of the most sought-after benefits among our guests. Please let us know when booking if you wish to charge your car during your stay. The electricity used will be due to be paid at checkout in the hotel reception.
Reserve a parking space
We have a limited number of spaces in our garage and recommend reserving your spot well in advance. Do not forget that you will need to quote your reservation number and license plate when making your reservation. On the day of arrival, you will receive an SMS to the phone number you provided during the parking reservation with a code to access the garage.

Otterhällans Garage
Should our garage be fully booked, we have a collaboration with the garage next doors to our own. They offer flexible options with dayparking, nightparking and a 24hour parking offer.
Municipal Parking
We have limited spaces in our garage, and if fully booked there is municipal parking in the area.
Skeppsbron
There is a municipal car park called Skeppsbron opposite the hotel. Cost: SEK 43 / hour every day 08:00-22:00, other times SEK 2 / hour.
P-hus Danmarksterminalen
There is another parking 10 minutes away by walk, called P-hus Danmarksterminalen. Price: SEK 18 / hour every day 00-24 and SEK 160 for 24h.

Night-time Parking 18:00-08:00: SEK 355 / night
Electric car: 355 SEK / night + you will be charged for the amount used to charge your car.
Extended Parking 15:00-12:00: 525 SEK / night
Electric car: 525 SEK / night + you will be charged for the amount used to charge your car.
Short-term Day Parking 09:00-17:00: 25 SEK / hour
Electric car: 25 SEK / hour + you will be charged for the amount used to charge your car.
You can freely use your car during your stay with us whilst having a guaranteed parking space.
Does the hotel offer private parking?
Yes, Hotel Riverton provides secure parking spaces in a private garage located just behind the hotel. Spaces are limited and should be reserved in advance.
Do you offer EV charging?
Yes, all our reservable parking spaces include EV charging. Please inform us during booking if you require a charging space.
How much does parking cost?
We offer overnight parking, 24-hour parking and short-stay options. Current rates are shown when you reserve your parking space.
Can I use my car freely during my stay?
Yes, you may enter and exit the garage at any time. Your parking space remains reserved for the entire stay.
Can I reserve a parking space in advance?
Yes, advance reservation is highly recommended. You will provide your hotel reservation number and licence plate. On the day of arrival, you will receive an access code via SMS and email.
Where is the garage located?
The garage is located behind the hotel at Lasarettsgatan 8, only a short walk from the entrance.
What if the hotel garage is fully booked?
If full, our partner Otterhällans Garage next door offers day, night and 24-hour parking options.
Are there other parking options nearby?
Yes, Skeppsbron public parking is located directly opposite the hotel. Danmarksterminalen Parking Garage is about a ten-minute walk away.
Is the parking secure?
Yes, the garage is locked, monitored and accessible only via a personal access code sent on the day of arrival.
